We have started handling the new CIP mechanism manufactured by ENERGYN Corporation. When it comes to larger CIP machines, regarding the pressure resistance of the lid, if the size is small (Φ150[mm]) and the pressure is low (250[MPa]), there is no need to adopt a yoke frame or pin closure type. Instead, we have implemented a turn-lock type using saw blade screws, which has improved the compactness of the machine and the speed of lid opening and closing. * The turn-lock type and saw blade screws: This fastening method, which combines square screws and triangular screws, is strong against axial loads. It is designed without the need for a frame or pins. In the ECIP series, we differentiate between the turn-lock type and wire winding frame type based on pressure calculations, ensuring reliable pressure retention while being smart (compact and convenient). Given the recent abnormal weather, we must always consider the risk of being caught in a sudden disaster. Therefore, we assumed a scenario where manufacturing at our headquarters would be halted. We took preemptive measures such as preparing spare molds and, in anticipation of difficulties in manufacturing supply at headquarters, we decided to store two months' worth of inventory at Niigata Takawa as a response to potential disasters or troubles, which led to the order. VA/VE Product Case Study: Integrated Molding

Achieved a cost reduction to one-tenth of conventional processing through net shape molding with MIM.

The cam parts, which were traditionally made by combining four components, have achieved significant cost reduction through MIM (Metal Injection Molding) by reducing processing and assembly labor. The four components were originally produced through machining and were high-precision cam parts costing nearly 10,000 yen for the set. Tai Mori Industries has successfully reduced the cost of this part to less than one-tenth, bringing it down to within 1,000 yen using MIM. The dimensional accuracy is 0.01 mm.
